Farewell Our Faithful Leaders...

A lot has happened in the past few months. Many of Divine Legends core raiders, strong officers and even our two long respected Guild Leaders have moved away from EQ2 for various reasons. RL and boredom with the content being the strongest motivators of this exodus. Each one is missed andwill be remembered by us.We wish you all the best and hope your paths with cross with ours again in our on-line adventures. I think Jaedayr said it best... "Everyone has made DL a great place to be. You may not be with us online any more, but the memories of our times together will only grow sweeter with time. I wish all of you the best in whatever the future holds for you: family, career, education or your next online adventure"

Farewell!

Elrin and Liil: Divine Legend was your off-spring, and she has grown and flourished with your devotion and dedication. Because of leadership, ambition and organization we all have a home that welcomes us on-line, even cross servers and games. Its an accomplishment that not many can say they have done, let alone have so many be thankful for. We wish you well and look forward to your homecoming, if its to be...

Welcome!

Our new Guild Leaders have BIG shoes to fill! We have a bumpy road ahead of us, but rest assure, we'll give it everything we got! We are confident the thing that made DL great still has its attraction, namely our strong sense of community. That builing and adding to it is bigger than the pixels you see. We also feel strong about keeping the guild going in the right direction, and selecting the bricks to lay the foundation to build the future is a fun thing to do.

Marching on...

We are getting back to EoF raiding strength. Recruitment is open and we have them incoming on a steady pace, while our older members are giving thier full support ! The recruitment will pick up once we get to kill higher targets no doubt. Keep watching this space, great things are coming.. New people with new ideas are welcomed, and we are stripping US guilds of their few european members. If you are one, be sure to drop us a line.

Things that go bump in the night...
Vampires andWerewolves......

Well we have been enjoying our assault on EoF raiding and so far have added Freethinkers Hideout and Mistmore Inner Sanctum to our raid calendar.
So far Zylphax the Shredder has died in FH and Othysis Muravian has been taken down to 29% so that blood sucker will be next.
Mistmore has been fun and so far we have killed VTekla Kzalk, Enynti and D'Litza Viswin, we had our first attempt at Tacticians Armour the other day and im sure that will be the next MMIS target to lick the floor tiles.

Also finally we managed to kill Cruor in Deathtoll which has been a constant bane to us but is no longer an issue.

Well done all and till the next time.....

Guild Dings Level 60!

Well Done to all our Guildies for thier hard work at achieving the guild level 60!!

22nd December 2006.

Alot of hard work was done by our members in the way of writs and status kill raids to gain guild level 60 since the release of EoF, I just wanted to say Thank You and well done to all those involved.

We became the first guild on Guk to own a white guild cloak having been the 4th guild on Guk to hit the big six oh, sadly our design has already been copied but ho hum we were first!

On the subject of hard work, I should mention a big Congrats to our newest officer Imperishable who gained 100 AA this week (How sad is that eh?).

The night before Faydwer.........

As I write this update it is November 13th and one day before the scheduled launch of Echoes of Faydwer, the eagerly anticipated next expansion for Everquest II.

Im pleased to say that Divine Legend recently added Venekor to our list of killed mobs and also the majority of the guild's active raiders have now completed their Claymore quest line with our latest Tarinax kill just in time for the new expansion.

The assault begins in earnest for guild level 60 this week and I will bring you more news of this and other Echoes goodness very soon.

Till the next time....

Tarinax Dead - Again!

Once again Divine Legend proved we know what we are doing by taking down Tarinax for the second time in as many weeks.  This week we managed it with 23 people (as Elrin went LD and missed his update - good job BT /sarcasm off)  and with no Brigand!

Well done to all who where there and grats to those of you who got your Claymore updates!

Tarinax DEAD!!

Yes Tarinax the Destroyer died to the hands of Divine Legend, finally after a long series of battles....................................................fucking bitch was becoming my nemesis, but no more....

Now that this bastard is dead our raid radar has picked up Chel'Drak and we are now making preperations for that fight as I type. Also many of us are now finishing off our Claymore quests now that we know Tarinax represents an update rather than a repair bill!

Till the next time and news of Tarinax being moved to farm status..................

For whom the bell tolls...

Yes, yes its been far too long since i updated the site, apologies, blame the World Cup.

Mobs have been dropping like Materazzi (yet another shameless World Cup reference..yup).

We have cleared The Lyceum of Abhorance. Halls of Seeing has been rid of Pain and Suffering, a lack of time stopping us from visiting Venekor so far, but i fully expect that to come sooner rather than later.

The big news is Talendor completed our destruction of 'The 4' to give us access to Deathtoll, news of the spoils to be posted soon.

Vyemm proved a pain but in the end he was bested.

The guild is becoming stronger and stronger in terms of Tier 7 raiding done to the beat of our drum which is that of a guild that places itself between casual and hardcore.

We have made all of our achievements without a regular raiding Brigand and would really now like to add one to our roster.

If you are level 70 (or soon will be) and would like to raid 3-4 times a week on a GMT based raid time, then we would like to hear from you, send a tell to any of our Officers in game.

Till the next time.....

That aside this is going to be some update, Divine Legend have been busy, very very busy.

Yesterday evening Divine Legend  became the 3rd guild on the Guk server to ding guild level 50, a huge grats to all of our members who have worked so hard to gain this achievement and also a large grats to Survivors for becoming the first and Troops of Doom for being the second.

Eye spy!

Just a quick update to let you know what is going on with Divine Legend.

The guild is a hive of activity as we draw near to the release of Kingdom of Sky and our impending assault on both level 70 for our characters and level 50 for the guild.

The majority of the guild are closing in on a date with the Godking for our Prismatic 2s and as a result it saw us on our first structured eye farming run to Silent City, im pleased to say that we now have 5 eyes within the guild vaults with 4 more to go. Watch for more on our attempt on Godking very soon!

Twas the week before Christmas....

Al'AfazIt's been a couple of weeks since my last update and it isnt because we've been slacking, no we've been busy, very busy.

The guild has been really starting to sprint into the holiday period with T6 raiding becoming much more prevalent now.

Lockjaw is our staple Sunday lunch, normally followed by a dessert of Gates of Ahket Aken, in fact we may have to move at least one shot up for a Friday as right now the only thing stopping us in this zone is a lack of time.

Crocadile shoes....crocadile shoes

Its been a hectic time around Divine Legend lately.

People have been working very hard on levels, grats to the latest to ding level 60. The loot has been coming in from Poets Palace in particular.

The guild dinged level 31 and as I write this report it is 50% through 31 well on our way to level 32.

It was also time when we decided to add a T6 target to our list, its name Lockjaw the Ancient.

A fairly routine encounter saw us able to make Munk a new handbag without too much trouble.

Grats to Munk for his new armplates and to Autolica for his new ring.

We rounded off a very smooth evening by killing Kdal, Trembler, Meetings of the Mind, Vision of Vox and King Zhalak, in that order!

Till the next time....

My Demons exorcised!

FinallyWell I can happily now post that my Demons have been exoricsed or should i say my Demon, this particular one has been pissing me off for some time, its name....Arch Lich Udalan.

I know my guild members shared in the collective sigh of relief at finally getting this bastard dead, raiding without a chanter definately has its challenges particularly on this asshat.

More prismatics and a dead worm thing...

Sunday we went back to the Isle of Refuge to face Darathar having worked 12 more people into the position of just needing the big ugly for their new weapons.

Im please to report that we were able to get another 12 their prismatic weapons. I doubt though that this will be our last visit to Darathar, I have made a promise to all DL tagged members that they will have a shot at their prismatic weapons if they are prepared to work at it.

More notches on the DL belt

KDalLike other guilds since LU13 we have found raiding a struggle. Even though a big part of our enjoyment has been frustrating I cannot fault the togetherness of my guild, we just focused on getting other stuff done, An Ancient Desert Power heritage, quests and of course getting the guild to level 30 while still battering Rognog and a few others to keep the guild spirit strong.

With LU15 it seems our patience paid off. We added Meetings of The Minds, the revamped King Zhalak and K'Dal the Deceiver to our dead list.

A fine performance by all and two metal chests on the night, the pick of the loot going to Graxon with his Underworld Legplates.

The night before change

It was the night before the incoming combat revamp and Desert of Flames expansion.

We had a very hectic night culminating in 6 metal chests, more on that later.

When thinking on what screenshots to select for todays news update i went into the guild window to get a good shot of the guild now level 29, what I actually ended up capturing via our locked events is just how far we have come, click the thumbnail and you'll see evidence of it. Darathar dead, server firsts, guild level 29 and a whole host of very nice new Fabled items in the possesion of Divine Legend guild members. Level 30 is very close for us now as you can see and with the hard work of all our members post LU13 I expect that milestone to be knocked over sooner rather than later.

Sinhat server first!

I mentioned earlier a server first and this came in the form of Sinislaw's title of Tesserarius, the 2nd level of the Freeport Militia. With his writ work i fully expect him to achieve the 3rd rank and another server first in the not to distant future.

So on behalf of all of us, very well done mate!

Divine Legend of the shard!

The killerz!Well we did it. Yesterday evening Divine Legend zoned in 24 battle hardened souls to face the big ugly Darathar again, 58 levels of redness!

On Sunday evening i had attempted to choke Darathar by going down spreadeagled when the bastard ate me. On Sunday our best attempt had seen us drop Darathar to 53% health, we knew from this first attempt that we wouldnt require any outside assistance on this fight, we could kill this with our guild, our people. No we havent got the perfect roster make-up, no we dont have a Troubadour, Enchanter or Conjuror. We dont have Fabled loaded players. We do have good players who know their class and we do have a serious will to win.

Deceptive

Well we have been busy!

With time ticking down to September 12th and the impending combar revamp and the Desert of Flames expansion, Divine Legend has its sights set firmly on a shot at Darathar beforehand.

Yesterday, Divine Legend killed on the guilds first attempt Trenda`loz the Caller, Vanudozalon the Elusive and Niscanithoz the Caller. We also killed Regent Grozmag and moved many people onto just needing Darathar for our first Prismatic weapons!

Stop thief!

Well since the last update we have been fairly busy.

The main focus for us is to get our Prismatic weapons and with this in mind we have been making sure that the guild all got to the stage where we needed to res Vox. Im happy to say that on Sunday we visited her crypt sacrificed a hafling ( hugs Liil ) and ressed Lady Vox, she must be able to cook as Naggy isnt with her for her looks!

Level 27 and a date with a lady!

Hello all,

Following a busy week, I have quite a bit to report.

Hard work by the guild patrons culmintaed in the guild dinging yet again, this time level 27! Divine Legend is the highest level European based guild on the server and is amongst only 9 guilds to have achieved level 27 on Guk. I have no doubt that the high standards being set by our patrons will continue and level 28 will come sooner rather than later.

The main short term goal we are working to is our Prismatic weapons, with this in mind we have been advancing our Fire and Ice quests and I am happy to report that following yet another guild first attempt/first kill, this time of Dythra The Gloombringer, Divine Legend is now in position to res Lady Vox for the first time. This will be happening very soon, so watch this space.

All in all a good week with Drayek and Rognog taking dirt naps and yet more fabled items into the hands of our guild members.

Till the next time...

A Stormy Night & A Crowning Moment!

Another Sunday, another raid, another first.

A good night started off with King Drayek's routine death and yet more routine wooden chest. Grats to the guild members who managed to upgrade some bits and pieces.

It was then off to Cove of Decay for our weekly date with the epic Angler. Grats to Kraknek for his Royal Great Flail, Munk for his Ruby and Mutley our newest guild member for his first piece of loot on his first raid with Divine Legend.

Aug 1, 2005

Drayek, Ar'ticae and Level 25....owned!

Another day and yet more progress from Divine Legend!

Yesterday for starter's we took down Drayek in a flawless execution, the event even coughed up a master chest, unluckily for us a Brigand Master I dropped so yet again the greedy little guild banker made off with yet more goodies! If you are a Brigand 45+ reading this who plays on Euro times this spell could have been yours! Grats also to Bupiwork for his new gown and Kitkin for her Ebon coin.

Jul 27, 2005

Giant tickling..

Yesterday we had a date with Rognog again and yet again we shoved his fishing rod somewhere unmentionable. Grats to Sinislaw for his Royal Great Flail! also grats to Kabu, Rillek and the guild bank for your stuff!

After leaving Rognog's still twitching corpse to the crabs we headed en masse to Permafrost and a date with Drayek. After LU12 him and his guards received some of their innate abilities which made our last attempt on him a distaster. This time however forewarned is forarmed!

Rognog dead in DL first!

A well fought battle with the Angler in Divine Legend's first attempt resulted in not only Rognogs demise but also our very first raid earned Master chest! Grats to Rillek on his Necklace of Doom and Ruby! Grats to Ninea on his very first Master spell!

Our average level has risen over the past 2 weeks and it was noticable!

Look out for further news of upcoming DL success, if you would like to be a part of it then check out the Recruitment news on this page. You can also drop a line in game to Munk our recruitment officer or indeed any other Divine Legend officer!

We want you!

Welcome to the Divine Legend - EverQuest II Recruitment !

General

Divine Legend (http://divinelegend.everquest2guilds.com/) is currently a level 26 guild looking to strengthen our ranks with few selected additions.
We strive to play games to the best of our ability whilst remaining fair, more importantly we aim to create a community in which our members can take part in and contribute to. We are GMT based (EST+5, PST+8). At present we raid at least 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) usually starting from 7pm (GMT). During raids, we use a Teamspeak private server to communicate.

Being a DKP guild, raid attendance is important if you like to be fairly rewarded for the help you will provide to the guild.

King Zhalak Downed!

DL beating King ZhalakKing Zhalak bit the dust in a very well handled raid.

However we have still to get a metal chest to drop from him, our luck with the random number generator hasnt been great!

However its good to be raiding and we are looking to do more and more as people level to 50.
